Believe me when I say that I have read hundreds of articles on the subject, and many books as well. I understand the issues. An perhaps the most pessimistic of our group are correct, that we will all be back to the Stone Age. Much depends on the time frame, and the wisdom that some civilized groups use during the collapse/transition/depopulation of the next two centuries. For example, I believe that there will indeed be some electricity for some areas for a few hundred years. If we are wise during the next 50 years, you can stretch that to several hundred years. Beyond that, who knows. But to people who say today, don't try anything, don't electrify everything, don't change laws and regulations for transportation and construction and agriculture, etc. ---- to them I say you are a quitter and a coward, and simply not creative.
