Exactly right! The times required, the enormous distances, the inhospitable nature of space, and the resources required make human interstellar space travel impossible and pointless. With the rate of expansion of space, only a few percent of the known Universe would ever be reachable anyway, even at 10% light speed. Humans should use telescopes and robots --- at least as long as we can. Soon we all may be more interested in finding water and raising crops.
