It seems that your mind is a snake pit of confusing, scary and depressing hypotheses. I would suggest that you reboot back to square one and begin again. Perhaps begin by changing your both-sides-ism philosophy: there really is such a thing as honest truth. If you invest some effort, you can tell what is true and what is not. At this moment in American history, there is only one party that can make positive changes to our country's policies, and only one party that will support democracy and freedom. So it is an easy decision. Simply vote Democratic for every office from the lowest to the highest. Even if you feel like you need to hold your nose while you do it. If Republicans control any branch of government (including local, state, federal, houses, senates, judiciary, etc) they will try to move the country backwards and away from freedom and democracy. It will take many years of citizens diligently voting for Democrats to gradually regain control over the political system that is currently held captive by theocratic and authoritarian loving right wingers. So stop the nonsense and just vote for every Democrat on your ballot.
