Unfortunately, it seems so unlikely that humanity will come together to create a meaningful strategic plan to get from here to true sustainability. Anyone betting on humanity should assume that humans will continue partying and fighting amongst ourselves while we follow the same process as the yeast. Imagine that one of the leading contenders for US President is basing his campaign on fighting with Mickey Mouse, M&Ms, banning books and fighting against vaccinations.
