Yes, it has been an incredible technological project over the last 40 years or so as the CFC's were phased out in favor of HCFCs, then these were phased out in favor of HFCs, then these are being phased out and replaced with HFO's and perhaps ammonia, CO2, isobutane and others. Thousands of products in many different markets and applications were using CFC's when the phaseout began. We are getting close to the end, where the Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP) and the Global Warming Potential (GWP) of all of the working fluids of all of the applications is finally becoming tolerable.
